Loss of a loved one

Many of you know Carolyn, and for those who don't, she is married to my Uncle Richard. Please keep them in your prayers, as her father passed away last night from terminal illness. Of course they knew he was not doing well, but nevertheless it's still hard for them I'm sure.

News from the Doctor

The cardiologist ordered mom to do a two stress test in Waco. She feels like it's probably nothing, but due to family history she wants to be sure. Moms stress test is scheduled to start this Wed. Let everyone know more news as I get it!

What are we going to do with her?

Mom went to the ER Tues. night for chest pain, and tingling in her left arm. The Dr. was concerned due to her symptoms, family history, etc. and suggested she stayed over night. The next morining they did more blood tests and EKG's. Everything came back normal except for her EKG which showed sinus bradycardia (a steady but unusually slow heart beat, which can be due to heart blockage or exercise). The Dr. told Mom to go home, follow up with her physician, no work, and gave her a perscription for nitroglycerin. Thurs. she followed up with her physician, and he told her that he was going to send her back to the cardiologists in Waco for another angiogram. He is concerned due to her symptoms and her family history. Her appointment for the cardiologist is today. So basically this could really be something, or it could be her heart rate has slowed due to exercise and maybe she's having anxiety or stress related issues. But hopefully we will know more soon!

I hope everyone is doing well, as for us we've been passing around a stomach virus. I am happy to report that I am feeling better. Anyway, Caleb's next basketball game is Jan. 26,2008 at 11:00am. Hope you guys can attend! He was very excited that he made to baskets (with a little help from the coach) at practice last Thurs.

Caleb's 1st Basketball Game

This morning was Caleb's 1st Basketball Game, and they tied 20/20 in overtime. This is very entertaining, definately a must see!

Caleb's First Basketball Game

Caleb will be playing his first basketball game Jan. 12, if you can come it should be a lot of fun to watch. The first practice was!! Also don't forget toward the end of the month Rachel is in the One Act Play. We're just getting back into the routine of things after the holidays. Happy New Year Everyone!
