Only My Child

Yesterday was Caleb's last day of school before Christmas break. Wade picked Caleb up from school, and they started on the way home. Caleb said, "Daddy, my ear is burning and I just have a rock in my ear." When they got home Wade told me what Caleb said. Wade looked in his ear, and sure enough he had a brown pebble in his ear. We were able to get the pebble out with the tweezers, thank goodness! What happened was the 3 and 4 year olds were out on the playground playing, and the boys started throwing rocks into the air. After getting in trouble and having to sit out for a while. The teacher let the boys back up, and while she wasn't looking the boys did it again. It was that time that the rock landed in Calebs ear, he told the teacher a rock hit his ear, when the teacher begin to question him he clammed up, and left the rock in his ear until Daddy came to pick him up!

Wortham Junior High One Act Play

Rachel auditioned several months ago for the one act play. Of course there were several parts she wanted, but the teacher thought the "bossy" badger would suit her just fine. The kids have been working very hard doing fund raisers and practicing several times a week. The play will go on sometime in Jan., and we hope everyone will be there! I will post more specifics as I get them.

Little Boys & Their Britches

I can not figure this out! Every since Caleb could walk he has managed to go through blue jeans like most people change underwear. I am truly amazed! I have asked several people for their help, and mostly the answer was the brand of jeans I was buying. I think I have bought every brand of jeans they make for little boys and guess what? They all only last for about a month (if I am lucky). I have bought jeans for him, he wears them one day, I wash them, and when I pull them out of the dryer there is a hole! I think I have stumbled upon one of the third wonders of the world! Who ever says little boys are not expensive must not have one.

Christmas Concert

Some of you may not know that Rachel plays the clarinet for the Wortham Band. Thursday night at 7:00pm the band will be putting on their annual Christmas concert. I know it's a little late, so if your not busy come show the band your support!

Teague Little Dribblers

Caleb has decided that he wants to play in the basketball instructional league this year. He is ready to start practice (which should begin soon). Their first game is the first Sat. in Jan., so of course everyone is invited. I'll let you know more details as I get them.

P.S. I know I've been horrible at posting lately, but I'm going to try and get back in the saddle!

Congratulations Mark & Sabrina!

We would like to tell everyone that Kennedy was born today! Mom says she weighed 6lbs. and was 19 in. long, and everyone is doing fine. We are excited for them and happy that both Sabrina and Kennedy are in good health. Caleb wanted to know when they would be here so he could hold and see Kennedy.
